FAQ
My Most Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located? Do you travel?
We are based out of Huntington Beach, California – but travel is always loved! To inquire more out destination shoots, reach out! We will gladly discuss any travel option.
What is your turn around time?
With my limited amount of jobs per year, the turnaround depends on how much we shoot, how busy we are, our travel schedule, and the holidays.
Any session, you will receive images from a photo session in 2 - 3 weeks.
Weddings you will receive in about 5 - 8 weeks (depending on the season). We do deliver a sneak peeks of every wedding within the first week, so you will receive a handful of images before the full gallery delivery
Do I need a second shooter?
We suggest a second photographer to be present for a guest list of 110+, and require a second photographer for guest lists of 180+. If you’re on the fence about needing a second photographer, please don’t hesitate to ask and we can discuss if it’s necessary for your wedding day plans.
How many photos will I get?
With weddings, we deliver between 50-70 images per hour. The images delivered all depends on several factors such as if the wedding is running on time, or following all the traditional customs, or if there are multiple locations for us to travel to and something as simple as family members being present for family formal photos. We carefully go through all the images taken on your wedding day and remove all the photos that have awkward faces, blinking eyes, camera lighting test shots and etc.
We enhance all images to match our editing style that you see throughout our website. All images are delivered in JPEG format through an online gallery for easy printing!
Can I get the RAWs?
Can you photoshop us?
We believe in promoting self love and body positivity, so we don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally not be there. (bruise, scrape, acne etc unless you’d like us to keep it in the photos). If you’re especially self conscious about something, please let us know as we’ll be sure to be extra aware of that while we're posing you. This way, we will be sure you look and feel your best.
What if I want a shoot where a permit is required?
Many places charge a photography permit fee. For clients who want to shoot in locations that do require a permit, they must purchase the permit fee in advance. Average permit fees range from $50-$300 for a time slot.
Will you help us pose/ not look awkward?
It is literally what I do best. I work with real people (not models)! Directing and making people look and feel comfortable is seriously what I'm best at. Pinky promise!!! Everyone says they are ‘the most awkward’ in front of the camera, but then afterwards say it’s so much easier and more fun than they thought it would be. Don't take my word for it, read some of my reviews and hear what my couples have to say!
The easiest answer we can give is, no. We get most of my business via referrals so for the sake of my business we need to be sure that any photo with our name attached, represents the brand. For this reason, we never release RAW files.
