I'm the luckiest god-momma ever! We got to have two days with Ade. Yesterday she came over for a while in the afternoon and today we met her and her momma for a playdate at the Lakewood Mall.

Miguel & Linda's Pregnancy Session

Last Monday I had the privilege of shooting a pregnancy session for one of my 2006 couples, Miguel & Linda. This is an amazing couple that has always been so fun to work with, so I was super excited when the invited me to photograph this new phase of their journey together!

Ade's First Birthday

For those of you following along, today completes Ade's first year of life. I've had the privilege of tracking her journey on camera (benefits of aunt-ie-ship). :)

Duck Hunting... Ade's 9.5-Month Session

Today I went hunting for ducks in the park behind our apartment with my little niece, Ade, her momma, Sheryl, and uncle/ninja Matt.

We had a blast and that little cutie pie was all up for feeing the ducks (and herself).

I enjoyed getting some outdoor shots for her 9.5 month session - the third in a series of four to document her first year of life.

Ade's 6-Month Session

Yesterday Matt and I got to spend the afternoon with our little god-daughter, Ade. We had a blast hanging out and playing; and she even let us take a few pictures!

Ade's 3 Month Pictures

So, today I realized I'm one of those people.

Yup. It happens when you least expect it but someone will walk up to you and start talking about this ADORABLE baby they saw/know/have/etc., of which you know little to nothing about. I did this today - actually, I'm doing it right now (since there's a good chance if you're reading this you may not know me well yet).

I've worked with some amazing people this past weekend and I can't wait to share their photos, but an hour with this little cutie and I'm totally distracted.

If you haven't guessed by now, this afternoon I got to hang out and take lil Ade's 3-month portraits. So here's a sneak peak of the favorites (the first being my top pick from the day). Despite a little early sleepiness we had a great time and got some beautiful shots.

Pregnancy Portraits!

Not too long ago (nearly 7 months now) my friend told me that she was pregant and expecting her first child - a baby girl! As we talked about the future and the exciting days ahead she said, "And I want some pictures of my belly when I get big!"

Which brings us to last week and our photo shoot of her and her belly holding her precious baby inside...
