Well, I was feeling inspired by our recent circumstances trying to purchase a home. The process, finances and red tape are just astounding.
Out of that frustration - in tandem with the plight of our economy - I thought it would be a good idea to let my feelings out through photographs on the problem with the traditional "American Dream."
I find myself caught up in it more than I'd like to admit, so this is not just a criticism, but also a journal entry (so to speak) of my own struggles with the issue.
"Why the picture of the church," you may question. It's not an admonition of Grace. I've just seen the perception of the church change over recent years and decades - and in the past "Andy Griffith" days the church (in general) was highly associated with what is known as the "American Dream."
