Wes & Tessa's Wedding

Yea! Wes and Tessa are now married. These two lovebirds wed last Saturday in Wes' family's backyard. It must be true what they say, that rain on your wedding day brings good luck, because only hours before their wedding was to begin we were having a downpour. Thankfully, the skies cleared and created some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen to date on a wedding day.

Benny & Jennifer's Wedding

So last weekend I had the most amazing time photographing Benny and Jennifer's wedding. It was a fun filled day to work with these two and their family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. What a treat!

Saturday was also my first time working with Emily Engle as our second shooter - she did amazing! Check out more of her other work here.

And I can't forget Maggie's Pub in Santa Fe Springs, which hosted a great reception for Mr. and Mrs. Cortez and all of their friends and family.

Mark and Kathy's E-Session

Last week I had the privilege of photographing Mark and Kathy. They are a wonderful couple and they're wedding is coming up quick! So watch for more photos in November.

Sweet Berries and Sarah's Photos

I'm amazed at how the internet is often the medium for reuniting people who've lost touch. Such is the case for Sarah and I; we both went to the same high school and graduated the same year (which will remain anonymous thank you very much!), but it wasn't until she contacted me on myspace that we were able to hang out and catch up on the last several years.

Sarah invited me to photograph her as she enters a new phase of life. When I asked what she wanted her photos to convey her answer was, "Thankfulness." So we spent the afternoon in Seal Beach, CA shooting the sunlight away and talking about the wonderful new adventures God has in store for her.

Ade's 3 Month Pictures

So, today I realized I'm one of those people.

Yup. It happens when you least expect it but someone will walk up to you and start talking about this ADORABLE baby they saw/know/have/etc., of which you know little to nothing about. I did this today - actually, I'm doing it right now (since there's a good chance if you're reading this you may not know me well yet).

I've worked with some amazing people this past weekend and I can't wait to share their photos, but an hour with this little cutie and I'm totally distracted.

If you haven't guessed by now, this afternoon I got to hang out and take lil Ade's 3-month portraits. So here's a sneak peak of the favorites (the first being my top pick from the day). Despite a little early sleepiness we had a great time and got some beautiful shots.
