Only 3 Days Left!

I can't believe it's only three days until we leave for Ensenada! We're leaving Saturday morning with seven teens and six leaders (up from the fantastic four!) from our youth group, SUSHI, at the River Church.

Last year was amazing, so I can't wait to see what God does this year.

If you're not familiar with Azusa Pacific University's Mexico Outreach check out the posted links. It's an amazing ministry with a passion for serving and loving the people of Mexico through service projects, construction projects and kids VBS programs.

The blog may go a little quite for the next week or so - but we'll be back soon!

Miguel & Linda E-Session

We were so excited when Miguel and Linda suggested Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles for their engagement session. Since they have a passion for traveling it was a perfect fit!

These two are so adorable together (as you'll see) and it was such a pleasure to photograph them today.

After the shoot we grabbed lunch at a little vegetarian restaurant nearby - and I must say I learned something; vegetarian tamales are super good!

Thank you for a wonderful time you two.

Now, on to the sneak peaks...

And We're Off!

YEA! Our much needed time away together is finally here.

Matt and I are escaping to a land of no cell phones or email for 3 days, starting tomorrow, to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. We've found a great little B&B up near Santa Barbara near the beach. Ah... the beach.

I'll report on the B&B once we get home.

Miss you all - see you in a few days!

Kirk & Christina's Wedding

Cake in the face in all, they are a beautiful couple. Kirk and Christina were beautiful not only all dressed up in their wedding clothes, but their love was something amazing to see. The depth and sincerity that is evident in their relationship will carry them through all the amazing and difficult times ahead. Christ in and through them is clearly evident.

Kirk and Christina became husband and wife last Saturday, July 7 at the Centennial Heritage Museum in Santa Ana, California.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their day...

Virgil's Photo Shoot

A good friend of mine approached me recently about getting some "good photos" taken. So we hit the road (at Downtown Disney) and here are a few of my favorite results...

Thanks Virgil for the great location idea!
