In just a few short months these two will be tying the knot - again. After 15 years of marriage, and without a traditional wedding, Michael and Gloria are inviting their friends and family to watch them renew their vows in San Pedro, CA.

Lucky for us we get to be there to capture their magic as they recommit themselves to one another.

Location Portraits with Derek

Sunday I got to work with a super guy named Derek who called us to do some location portrait work. We went down to Seal Beach in California to get some great shots on the sand and along the main street.

It was great working with Derek and his shots turned out amazing. Just take a look at a few of my favorites from the day...

Ensenada, Mexico plans

I can't believe it's almost here. In just a little more than two months we'll be off to Ensenada, Mexico with some of the youth from our SUSHI Student Ministries team.

Last year, our first with Azusa Pacific Universities' Mexico Outreach, was amazing - life changing even. It seems like last week we were there, just the four of us, trying to figure out how to say "horse" in Spanish (which is caballo we later learned).

Now, with a team of 13 we're planning to go back to Ojos Negros and work with the church there to tile a concrete floor. Any suggestions? Just kidding.

An experience like this is no vacation, but is worth more than I can express.

And the bonus? Licita's homemade floor tortillas and carne. Yum!

Pregnancy Portraits!

Not too long ago (nearly 7 months now) my friend told me that she was pregant and expecting her first child - a baby girl! As we talked about the future and the exciting days ahead she said, "And I want some pictures of my belly when I get big!"

Which brings us to last week and our photo shoot of her and her belly holding her precious baby inside...
